It’s my last Sunday in LA! I’m going to miss the view from this Airbnb, the view of rolling hills with colorful little houses nestled into them in the distance, the little lemon tree just outside the window above the little desk in the corner 😩. It’s been a nice time, but I’ve been “outside” a lot and my Taurus Sun, Aquarius Moon, Cancer Rising, introverted ass is ready go back inside again. I really miss my boo. And I miss my things, the things that make me feel like I’m home. And I don’t mean just the tangible things, rugs and coffee cups and ashtrays, but the things that make up home: safety, familiarity, comfort, old memories and the potential for new ones. Makes me think of this passage from My Garden by Jamaica Kincaid:
