It’s Mother’s Day, which for some reason I feel very resistant to. I say “for some reason” but honestly for me, like for so many others, this day is fraught. Whether you’ve lost a mother or child, are trying to conceive, are stressed out by motherhood, or have a strained relationship with your mother I hope you’re being extra gentle with yourself today.
